Super User NHBull Posted February 11, 2020 Super User Posted February 11, 2020 Howdy folks, my sone found this in his basement. It is a penn reel and not sure about the rod. Any insight is appreciated Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 12, 2020 Super User Posted February 12, 2020 No clue - cool old rod & reel though. I think that it is worth the time to knock off the rust, corrosion & stuff, clean it up and get it back to working order. I have a similar rig, although that rod is much older & cooler than mine. I cleaned mine up and put I don't know how many yards of cheap 50 lb mono ( almost 2 of those quarter pound spools ) on it and now it is a kite flying rig supreme, when it doesn't have an honored space on my fishing barn rod rack. 1 Quote

Super User WRB Posted February 12, 2020 Super User Posted February 12, 2020 Could also be a 155, can't tell without a top view and a ruler to determine size? The Rod looks like pier rod of unkwon make. Tom 1 Quote
