Has anyone tried to repair a broken Do It jig mold . DO It suggested JB weld but thought I would ask if anyone has attempted this kid of repair with any success.

Was going to suggest JB Weld or any other 2 part metal epoxy. Go to the exhaust section of your local auto parts store.

I found a JB weld Extreme heat but reviews were not good but pretty extreme pressure conditions. If I can find the extreme heat type locally I will try it. Thanks

It is cast aluminum, see if a sheet metal shop can possibly weld it for you, or at least fuse the seams

That was my second choice if the JB does not hold. There is no real pressure on the hinge point if you oil before each use.

Check with Phil's Pro shop in Redding if they know someone who can weld cast aluminum alloy like A356.

I never thought to ask Chris at Phils if he could weld it. Will do that when in the shop again.
