Won't be a problem here.  Boat won't be moored.

Do you have raw water washdown on the boat?

Yeah, I thought the advantage of sea deck was easy clean up. But I’ve never seen it in person, supposedly you can hose it down. I can’t imagine how nasty seagull poo might be……… ?

It will be on my next one in a couple of years...?

Right now I leave a bucket on board and it was filling up pretty good with rain we got last year. If it didn't rain I could walk out to it at low tide and do the clean-up/maintenance it needs. Not even a 1/4 mile walk from the house, actually maybe half that. Around mid-season I carried the battery back to charge...so not bad

I have it in my Hobie Compass, and it's pretty awesome. A little oxy spray light scrub and it's as new.

Something I'm wondering about. About 50% of the hybrids don't have lockable rod storage. What is the reasoning behind this?

Nice boat, not fast enough.

Fast enough for me - 39mph is only 1mph below the speed limit on my lake...

No limit on my lakes :)

I like everything about it except the front deck.  The cushion snaps are junk.

It's in my bottom range, lol.  I'd prefer something around 70 for top speed.  I don't want to be sucking fuel at WOT going 40 mph.  I'd rather sip fuel at 40% throttle doing 40 mph.

This thread had me thinking a couple of months ago about the possibility of upgrading to a bigger boat. Guess I'll wait until next year or so. I wouldn't be able to afford the fuel.

@slonezp, I hope work picks up for you so you won't keep posting all these boats. :)

Unleaded Regular E10 was $4.58 /gal. yesterday.  I was in a hurry, so I only pumped $10, and realized that was less than three gallons, lol.

I can imagine what the marina's will be charging this year. Back in '08 gas got to about $4.11/gal and I think the marina's in Kennebunkport were selling gas in the $7's. My little Edgewater with it's 70HP will do just fine this year. :)

And I'm cringing because it hit $3.99 here the other day.

I have a 'cheat' - grocery shop at Cub, for every $100 spent, get $0.10 per gallon off at Holiday...of course, right now I'm sitting on a $0.30/gallon discount with a 3/4 full tank in the truck.

We don't have anything like that here. I could get a BJ's membership but there's none right close by. If this goes on further, I may have to rethink this whole boat thing.
