There's a couple things I don't care for, but that thing has a lot. The Masters 247 Bay is plenty nice and considerably less expensive Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 8, 2021 Author Super User Posted November 8, 2021 Once the queen sees that double stern seat and a porcelain head option, and it's gonna be all over for me, lol. 1 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted November 9, 2021 Author Super User Posted November 9, 2021 They don't have one in stock and it's a little over 2.5 hours away. They only have a Heritage and a few Opens in stock. I guess I could see build quality from those boats, but I'd like to buy off the floor if possible, when I'm ready. Quote

The more I learn about this boat, the more I'm willing to think about a 6 hour drive for a boat. Here's a nice overview with Matt Cashion's (Cashion Rods owner) boat and a few others. Quote

Thanks for turning me onto them. They weren't on my radar at all before you posted. I thought they only built bass boats. 1 Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 2, 2021 Super User Posted December 2, 2021 I forgot about this thread. I dropped my boat for winterization and shrink wrap and check out the 2021 Dauntless...What a sweet boat! 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 2, 2021 Author Super User Posted December 2, 2021 I didn't care for the updates. Looked like the compromised a lot of the fish ability for comfort features. I'm m hot on that Caymas now. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 2, 2021 Super User Posted December 2, 2021 Thankfully I didn't have family with me. They know I've been on the Dauntless train for quite a while now. There's one that's been moored next me for the past 8 years or so. They'd have me trading up...But of course, they like spending my money. ? 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 2, 2021 Author Super User Posted December 2, 2021 I really liked that Dauntless design, which is what initially attracted me to the segment. The new design looks like everyone else's design. The Caymas on the other hand seems like they were building it with me in mind. I must not be the only one. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 2, 2021 Super User Posted December 2, 2021 The other boat I liked and liked fishing out of it was my buddy's Tiara. It was an older one, I believe an '04, but he keeps it up nice. Quote
