Just wondering if you can elaborate on the differences you seen between them.

The internals of the tatula 100 are more beefy then the fuego. The tatula 100 is more improved since the release of the fuego ct.

More beef more good. Good to hear from someone who’s actually tore them apart, there are many people on the interwebz parroting that they are exactly the same aside from the T wing.

The CT models were pretty much identical, aside from the t-wing and the necessary components to engage the wing. The new 100 model has a more compact frame and smoother operation, in my experience. I still have a Fuego CT because I wade the river and don't want to risk tumbling with a $500 combo, but almost everything else has been upgraded to some iteration of the 2020 Tatula.

The fuego ct and tatula ct were pretty much the same but the tatula 100 is an improvement in my opinion

I disagree with the 100 being built better or feeling better. Its a fine reel but I always preferred the tatula or fuego ct over it. Just felt better built, smoother and a little quieter. Obviously everyone doesn't agree but I'd go fuego or tatula ct. I had one 100 that was as slick as any reel I've owned and then had about 3 more that weren't half as slick as that one.

I’ve heard people say the “the 100 is newer and built better”, but I’ve never really heard specifics on what was changed to make the reel “feel” or actually perform better. I’m not at all saying there aren’t actual mechanical improvements... just that I haven’t heard anyone be specific about them.

I’d honestly be interested to know the meaningful mechanical changes. “Beefier” doesn’t really mean much.

I do think I prefer the 100 chassis better than the CT, but they both palm fine. I don’t have a Fuego, but the Tat CT fishes great.

Where is the fuego made and which one has metal crank side???

The CT’s, nor the 100 have a metal side plate, if that’s what you meant?

I don't know if the TD Fuego had a metal handle side plate, but do know it wouldn't be aluminum.  The TD Fuego is a magnesium frame reel.
