Raccoon in a box (normally I would tie that off but she told me I couldn’t lean a ladder on her fancy gutters)3-C0-B31-AE-4703-4-F5-A-A46-E-D4-C7-EDF2

Those gutters seem out of place on that house.

This guy cleaned up a bunch of river birch sticks out of his yard and made a pile.  a squirrel figured out a good use for them BABED96-A-2-ADF-4083-8-DE9-58-AE27-E996-

They said those houses were ordered out of the sears catalog in the 1940s

I was thinking about you @TnRiver46 today.  We were getting ready for an Easter Egg hunt at church this morning when a raccoon wander aimlessly into the church yard.   He seemed kind of disoriented and everyone started worrying that he might be rabid and could be a threat to the kids.  He eventually wondered off but was spotted again across the street during the Easter Egg hunt.  We had someone watching him the whole time to make sure he didn’t cross paths with the children or try to make off with any Easter eggs.  ?

Coons love getting the eggs (and chickens) out of a coop haha.

we get a lot of calls/jobs just like that, it’s usually distemper . They will act punch drunk until you cinch a catch pole onto them, then it’s a Tasmanian devil

Looked up raccoon distemper and the symptoms listed matched what we observed exactly.  He seemed drunk.

I can just imagine one of the kids grabbing him to take home as a pet and then have him turn into a Tasmanian devil.

The very second you pick up a raccoon distempered or not, it is evident they are not good pets haha

ive had to go 12 rounds with them many times, formidable opponent to say the least

one of the more memorable times was in a paint booth at a boat factory

The war is never ending with these guys

and this fat mole has been harassing's us going on two years now.

He's proven to be a very worth adversary.

But today, that has officially come to an end.

Pretty sure this is his good side.

Time to celebrate.

Been on a bit of a tear lately.

The Wire Tek 1001 Easy Set Mole Eliminator doing work.

We run 4 different traps and rotate them to the active areas a few times a day.

Pays off.

Good job A-Jay. I have two mole traps. I’ve put several thousand miles on the stupid things moving them around in the yard. Haven’t caught a single mole with them yet’??
