I had to move a box springs to set my ladder up and there is no dryer hose anywhere near that exhaust…….. seems like a few squirrels might church the place up a little 4 Quote

I think it takes a whole lot of practice, I don’t skin anything because it takes me forever also. I know a guy though! He can have a raccoon done in around 8-10 minutes if he’s in a hurry I have an uncle that's one of those guys. He's been trapping 60 years or so. Skinned, scraped and on the stretcher in 10min or so. When you've done thousands, ya get purty good at it. 2 Quote

VolFan Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Saw a pair of nesting blue herons, then a beaver up close, then a pair of owls tonight on a walk with the wife. We live in the middle of Charlotte- it was the craziest 20 min of wildlife I’ve seen in a long time! 1 1 Quote

Super User N Florida Mike Posted April 3, 2022 Super User Posted April 3, 2022 You got it! There’s a bunch of them in my lake. Yeah, I never tried one yet. I was thinking about it but didn’t have time to fool with him today with church and all. I let him go in a pond where there’s already a bunch of them. They have eaten nearly 3 feet in from my lakefront ! Not putting up with it anymore… 1 Quote

Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted May 13, 2022 Author Global Moderator Posted May 13, 2022 Caught a skunk in a trap meant for groundhog, it made itself a pine straw cacoon in the trap. Then sprayed me. Caught a sneaky raccoon that avoided capture for 2 weeks. And of course Alvin, Simon, or Theodore the singing chipmunk 5 1 Quote
