Super User roadwarrior Posted March 2, 2021 Super User Posted March 2, 2021 WOW! I had no idea there was a market for wolf pelts. How many pelts does it take to make a full length coat? https://www.google.com/search?q=wolf+fur+coat&rlz=1CAWPBA_enUS936&sxsrf=ALeKk01HELGs_M2Ffu8ngGrdvzmd2Io8Ow:1614697349500&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=WRGf_2FkSYDvCM%2C-9bSIIJMaX3DxM%2C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTsqknxAKpaXfBaNOcItV1YQBXdyA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjM376v8JHvAhVwQjABHQGOBCMQ9QF6BAgREAE&biw=1366&bih=617#imgrc=WRGf_2FkSYDvCM 1 Quote

Sorry just saw this. We don’t have “gophers” where I live but we have groundhogs and everyone calls them gophers . Apples, pears, peaches, cantaloupe work well, I caught one in 2 hours with apples on Tuesday. I just use cages because I’m trapping around houses. Quote

Hahahah! Believe me this lady would have rather seen a grizzly bear on her porch than that snake...... snakes don’t eat often enough to keep up with rodent reproduction 1 Quote

Yes they can be a problem but not my problem haha 16 minutes ago, HaydenS said: Didn't you know the local animal shelter hired him as a feral cat hit man? Our shelter has tried everything, now they no longer kill them. No matter what they do, the number of stray cats never waivers 1 Quote

What features have you saw makes for the best one to get? That all depends on what you’re after and how much you use it. The green ones you can get at hardware stores are great for a homeowner using it 2-3 times a year. If you are trapping daily they will eventually get destroyed, especially by raccoons and/or groundhogs . We have a massive collection of broken traps. Tomahawk is my favorite brand, safeguard a close second durability would be my most important factor, maybe set the trap and spring it a few times before purchasing, see if you like how it fires off. Also the solid metal doors on cage traps like havahart don’t last long, usually the first raccoon destroys it 2 Quote
