Jim McC Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Yes, I hate this time of year. The winters here in Wisconsin suck BIG time. We also had a little snow today. Quote
GLADES Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 You need a winter home in south fla. The bass fishing will start heating up in the next few months. The ocean fishing isnt bad either! Quote

I wish I had the money. One of these years the wife and I want to move to a much milder climate. I know I couldn't take the humidity of Florida though. Quote
riverfisher Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I feel your pain!! Putting away my boat always puts me into a deep depression. Luckily its in my garage I can uncover her and say hello every once and a while! ;D Quote
MisterMcBass Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I feel sad for those of you who can't fish year round in unfrozen waters. Quote
IDbasser Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I did the same thing the other day, really sucks. But it is going to come out early in Jan or Feb to go fish on Lake Mead in Nevada. Going to head south for a week of fishing when the temps here are in the single digits and teens. Quote

SinDale Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I went out walleye/bass/perch fishing last weekend in my boat, but puddles are starting to freeze, and its snowed the last 2 nights so I guess I'll winterize the motor and pull the battery and electronics too :'( Can't wait to get into the steelhead at the creeks and pull a few pike thru the hard water! A little cold weather won't stop the fishin! Quote
ThomasL Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I live here in north carolina so the lakes do not freeze, did not winterize the boat last year thinking i might go out but didn't,when warm weather came, put the motor in my large trash can filled with water and it cranked!no seafoam or nothing!Should i chance it again this year! ;D Quote
