I throw Netbait 11" C-Mac during Summer and it has caught me many small bass I never thought would eat it. Still throw Zoom Ol' Monster 10.5" as backup. Expand I bet if the tractor tire had a decent shimmy on the fall a DD bass probably would try to eat it. Super User FryDog62 Posted January 30, 2020 Super User Posted January 30, 2020 First time I threw a 10.5 inch Yum Mighty Worm was on a 5/8 oz Pumpkin ‘Ed jig in 18 fow - I just dropped it over the side of the boat to reset the tension on my reel. 3/4 of the way to the bottom I got nailed by a 19 inch largemouth. I thought this is what I should have been using all year! Have fished that exact set up half a dozen times over the past 5 years without a sniff... 2 Quote

That being said, I always have a Berkley 10" power worm tied on ready to throw. Color depends on whims of the day, mostly blue fleck. Quote

Expand Oh, they can eat it... I'm just trying to figure out how to get a hook into them after they bite it. Doesn't seem to be enough room left in their mouth for a hook point, lol. The 10.5" Mightyworm is also a legit offering. I fish them like a fluke for pike and catch a lot of bass in the process. Quote

I'm partial to the 10" Big Bite Kreit tail worm and for a straight tail the 10" Xcite Maximus has also produced. 1 Quote
