I see that BPS has their line conditioner on sale for 4.97. Just curious to see if anyone has used this before and how it compares to others such as the KVD version. Thanks.

The KVD is a proven product that is consistent and works better than all the other off shoots.
You know what you’re getting.

If you need to save a buck or so give it a try.

I tend to stick with what I know.

Since starting to use KVD, I've never had a need to try anything else. On mono or YZH, it just works.

I agree and do use KVD. I saw the BPS stuff for a great price and had hoped someone had tried it. I just got back from BPS and picked some up along with some Big Game. Ill give it a try come spring time.

Due to KVD's relationship with BPS - it would be great if the BPS stuff was just re-labeled KVD line treatment (most likely it is not ...) .

If you're looking to save money, buy it in bigger containers.

They make a 16 oz bottle and you can also buy 1 gallon.

I'll go against the grain here.

I used KVD for years, and it works great. In fact, it's the best. However, I have also bought the BPS line conditioner, and guess what? It seems to perform just as well. So with that, I recommend both, and buy whatever is most easily available to you. I personally have a few bottles around of each my garage, bank bag, and in the boat.

That's good to hear. I'm not necessarily looking to save a buck, but if it works just as well as KVD and I can get a 6oz bottle for 4.97, I think it's a good deal.

I've used both and didn't see a difference either. I ran out of KVD L&L and was making an order online at BPS because I had a giftcard so I added a bottle of BPS brand line conditioner.

I use it on a baitcasting reel spooled with 10# fluorocarbon or mono. Applied to the spool the night before I go fishing.
