zeth Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Just seeing if anyone has tried. Bought a bunch to try. Quote
Bass Rutten Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Disregard, I misread title as mono, I'm speaking to advance mono below. How to delete comment? I tried the 20 lb for only a month or so last fall on a swimbait rod, very similar to p-line cxx to me, a bit smoother casting, larger than average diameter for it's given test rating, could benefit from line conditioner as it seemed to have slightly higher than average line memory. I liked it enough that I'll leave it on and probably test the 17 lb come springtime on another rod. Quote
zeth Posted January 15, 2020 Author Posted January 15, 2020 All good. I’ve liked the mono so far despite large diameter Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted January 15, 2020 Super User Posted January 15, 2020 IMHO it's the best mono ever. Quote

Super User fishballer06 Posted January 16, 2020 Super User Posted January 16, 2020 I bought a few spools of the 14lb to try out. I used it for about an hour so far and it seemed to work well. I didn't catch anything with it, so I can't comment on the strength. Quote

I'm using Sunline Sniper doused with KVD conditioner and it still has more issues than I'd like on spinning gear. I'd give a spool a try if it appears to have less memory. Quote
zeth Posted May 3, 2020 Author Posted May 3, 2020 You should be using braid to a leader on spinning gear. It has less memory than the line you are talking about but not enough less to work with spinning gear. Fluoro IMO has no place on a spinning reel except as a leader. Quote

Seems no different than Sniper or Pline Tactical. For the record, neither of those lines have ever given me memory issues on casting or spinning reels. 1 Quote
