SMB, 23.5" and almost definitely the fattest smallie I have ever landed.

LMB, just over 24" but unfortunately anorexic.

SM-4.0 only fished for them once on a houseboat vacation on Dale Hollow.

LM = 4.6 lbs. on a neko rigged 5" worm ( Caught another that was 4.4 lbs. on T-Rigged Craw )

SM = 3.1 lbs. on a Whopper Plopper Size 90 Munky Butt Color ( Caught several close to this )

I've only been fishing 2 seasons now, and both these were from this past season. I also usually only fish small rivers that most would even call creeks and ponds, mostly public park ponds.

Click on any member's name and you can see their personal best in the profile section under My PB. I see yours is 5 to 6 pounds. Nice work! Also, in the South bass grow bigger (But definitely not Muskie-I lived in Minnesota in the past.) So a Texas 10 pound Largemouth and a Minnesota 6 pound Largemouth are about equivalent.

And where I live the fishing is so bad that hooking and losing one close to shore is actually better than landing one in a real fishery! ;)

My best is 5.25 (first year bass fishing so I expect better soon) and is in my avatar photo. Morgan Hill, CA from the bank. I was so shocked - I'll never forget it. Well I don't have to I have it on video. Love having the camera.

LM - 11 lbs. 13 ozs. (caught in Florida)

I am probably most proud of an 8 lb. 12 oz. LM I caught in the Atchafalaya Basin in 1997. An 8 + pounder from the Basin is a giant for that area.
