I am looking to pick up a mustang elite inflatable pfd.  How long before they need to have a new rearm.  I know I'll have to rearm it if I use it but what if I don't.  How long is that charge good for before it should be replaced?

Thanks

I purchased a re-arming kit in March 2018 -

Arrived with an exp date of 2023.

Seems like 5 years is a decent number.

I've had my Mustang HIT for 4+ years and the kit just expired.  I just installed the rearm kit and it expires in 2025.

My HIT has to be a decade old.  I've rearmed three times.
