Good day for me. None of my anglers are in the top 10, but 4 of them are in the top 25. I also have John Cox who is down there in the leaderboard but I’m not worried since I think something like 43% of players own him.

Edit: I also changed my tie breaker weight at the last second. Bumped it up from 70-5 to 79-9.

26 guys today didn't have a full limit, including 11th place Chad Morganthaler. 6 of those didn't weigh in a single fish.

How does the tie breaker work for making the cut ? Bill Lowen and Patrick Walters are tied for 10th olace .

Okay , I found out how the tie breaker works . Whoever has the most single day weight wins .

Here is something else that will make your head hurt ?

I went back and looked at the scoring for Fantasy Fishing for St Clair & who won.  The person who came in 3rd (Buickparkave) had not played the entire year, this was his first entry.  He went with favorites in the top buckets (Mueller, & both Johnstons) but then switched it up and went with the longest of long-shots by choosing Weidler in bucket E.

I know this sounds like a conspiracy theorist, but how does a first time player who is choosing favorites decide to switch it up on a guy who has never cashed on the Great Lakes and was at the bottom of the AOY standings, only to have that dark horse win?

I really wonder if there is a glitch in the Fantasy Fishing programming that allows late entries to slide in...

This tourney the 6th , 7th , and 13th finishers , this was their first time . You might be on to something .

Another event with less than 1,000 points for me. Finished with 999 points lol. Congrats to BP for the W!

No rest for the wicked though. Chickamauga is this weekend. 3rd weekend in a row for these guys. Will exhaustion play into it???

So last year and up to last week, I would choose 2 rosters.  My top picks would go to my entry and I would give my 2nd choice picks to my wife for her entry.  This year, my 2nd choice picks have been brutally horrible.  So I gave up.

I went to my wife, had her pull up the website, told her that the lake they were fishing in was in Tennessee & nothing else.  The results?  She chooses Brandon Cobb, day 1 leader in bucket C, another top 10 in Lee Livesay in bucket E, has 2 more anglers in the cut and her 5th choice is Brandon Lester, a Chickamauga regular just 8 spots out of the cut.  She is crushing me by about 200 points.

In the future, I may have her pick my lineups as well...

Well, another season of Fantasy Fishing has come and gone and I think everyone had fun. This season was a lot more "interesting" to say the least. This season we had 75 participants, of which 40 played every event. Here's how our top performers did for the year.

Top 5 is:

Logan - 11,649

ratman46 - 11,600

tmr624 - 11,575

worminken - 11,467

fishballer06 - 11,269

I finished this season in the 97.7th percentile, so I would imagine that Logan and Ratman were easily in the 99th percentile. The competition here has always been fierce, but I think this is the best finish that we've ever seen by a board member here.

The 2021 season should start up in late January. I will post up a thread to get that going once it's available. Thanks again to everyone who participated this season!

Yep, I was 99.7% and 112th overall - Crazy.  Pure luck, I'm next year I'll be at the bottom like I usually am :)

I do a small group with some fishing buddies also and whoever wins gets baits from the others - So I've got a little tackle coming my way at least :)
