Fried Lemons Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 I've been getting some big bites on the coolbaits underspins but at $6 a pop it gets aggravating snagging multiple of these per trip. Does anyone have any experience with the owners and how they compare to a regular jig head underspin? Thanks. Quote
Grim_Reaver Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Screw-lock swimbait hook with a blade attached by wire. Blades spin freely below the bait and it's weedless. Quote
IgotWood Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 I use them. But from my experience they hang weeds just as much underspin jigs. Great hook though with a good hookup ratio. 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted January 4, 2020 Super User Posted January 4, 2020 They work good, the plastic swimmer is rigged weedless in lieu of exposed hook. Tom 1 Quote

bholtzinger14 Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 If you get the 5/0 or bigger get some large centering pin springs. It will make your soft plastics last way longer. 2 Quote

I use a little pair of pliers to do it, if the hook eye is too thick it takes a bit of force to get it to pop. 1 Quote
