WesternBass Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 1. Fish a Jig More: It's not secrete Jigs Produce Year Round and often Bigger Fish. I am almost a master at flipping in the back yard , yet I rarely do it on the water. This is the Year. 2. Master the Drop Shot : the best way I can. I Use it Often , but not an expert, and quite frankly that darn thing tangles so often, I am quickly beginning to hate it. So This Is The Year. Crank Bait 5. Top Water (Popper, Spook). That's my all-time top 5 and all very "old school" IMHO. That would be my list. 1 Quote
The Maestro Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I'd like to get better at horizontal presentations/moving baits/covering water. I rely too much on fishing vertical and this messes me up when the wind picks up and boat control and accuracy becomes difficult. Quote
