Joe_w1234 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 With all the stuff about the new year, I thought it would be cool to have a thread where everyone should post a picture of their biggest bass of 2019. 1 Quote

Where's yours? Mine is in my profile-pic...but here's a larger shot. Caught 31 July just before 8:30 AM on a 3/8oz Chartruese/Yellow, Colorado/Willow spinnerbait with a 3" Pumpkin-Green Flake Berkley Chigger Craw trailer. 3.94lb. 12 Quote

Super User soflabasser Posted January 1, 2020 Super User Posted January 1, 2020 Earlier this year I caught a largemouth bass that was +25.8 inches long with a +18.25 inch girth. I caught other big bass but I was much more focused on multi species fishing this year. I look towards to improving in bass fishing in 2020 and hope to continue catching new species of fish for my fish lifelist. 5 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 1, 2020 Global Moderator Posted January 1, 2020 My largemouth wasn't real special, right around 6.5 pounds on March 1st on a Rayburn Red Tungsten 2tap. The smallmouth was a special fish though. I've been trying for a decade and a half to break my 3 way tie for my smallmouth PB of 5 pounds even, and I smashed it by nearly a pound with a 5.83lb fish on May 10th on a Duo Realis jerkbait. Just a pound off the state record. 18 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 2019 was not a year of monsters for me. I did get several smallmouth just over 5lbs and a couple largemouth just under 5, but my 10 year old did well this year. He got new PB’s for smallmouth at least twice, one was right around 4lbs and the other just a hair under 5lbs. First fish was on a wacky rigged Berkley Powerbait Maxscent General, second one on a Maxscent flatworm on a drop shot. 19 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted January 1, 2020 Super User Posted January 1, 2020 7.6 caught on a Golden bream super fluke. 16 Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 1, 2020 Super User Posted January 1, 2020 My biggest of 2019 was a new PB at 11-8 measuring 27" by 19.5" and caught on a SK red eye shad lipless. 17 Quote

Well, this was the year I started to get into bass fishing, so I didn’t catch many big ones. Also, I spent most of my time fishing in the creeks/small rivers near me for smallmouth, and none were ever very big. I really didn’t know of any lakes near me with fishing access, but now I have learned of some, so I will be hitting those this year. ? 1 Quote
Dirtyeggroll Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Was also my first fish of the year. Didn’t weigh it, but I’d guess it was easily over 6 maybe closer to 7. 17 Quote

Super User J._Bricker Posted January 2, 2020 Super User Posted January 2, 2020 On March 7th I was able to get this camera shy 7.7lber to eat a Revenge spinnerbait. 11 Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted January 2, 2020 Super User Posted January 2, 2020 I thought these 2 were going to be my 2 biggest while they were on (Clear Lake trip)... ...but my biggest (and PB) came at a local lake on a stick bait and weighed in at 9.1. 15 Quote
Fairtax4me Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 My fattest of the year was this 6.7lb 22” hawg on a black trick worm if I remember right. March 15th Later in the summer caught one that was a little longer but it was skinny, only like 5lbs. 10 Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted January 3, 2020 Super User Posted January 3, 2020 No PB’s this year for me, but I take pride in having “guided” 5 people to theirs. Biggest was the bottom photo caught by my wife who hadn’t fished in 3 decades (5.4 lbs): 11 Quote
JediAmoeba Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Caught on April 8th with a Jackhammer chatterbait. This fish is pressed up against my body trying to get it all in the picture taking it myself. Fish very rarely get this big in Pa. 11 Quote
