RichF Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 I know this thread is kinda old but that jig box design has already been done. The older Falcon/Plano spinnerbait boxes had the same bait keeper design. It's OK but those dividers will wear up your skirt bands pretty quickly. I don't know how many times I pulled out a bait only to have the skirt fall apart because the divider tore the rubber band. Just something to think about before dropping $30+ on a box. Quote

I don't know if they're the exact same as the Falcon was. It doesn't seem as stiff as the Falcon was and doesn't snap in like those post did. I wire tie all mine so it's not something I can test but it's a legitimate issue to keep an eye on for those buying banded baits. Quote
TcRoc Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Resurrecting this thread. Question, Is the 3700 Edge jig box standard depth or is it more like the Edge 3700 Thin? Quote
kdubracing Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 It's standard 3700 size. I got one a couple of months ago and love it. I have everything from 1/4 to 1/2 oz with different head sizes, and my chatterbaits. A couple of the larger football heads don't fit perfect, but still fit. If you hold the skirt strands down when you put the jigs in, almost all of them fit great. 1 Quote
