Joe_w1234 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/skinny-fish.html Saw this article yesterday at our very own bassresource.com and I thought it was very interesting. I never thought that a bass would eat a soft plastic they ripped of a hook. I know this article was on the same website I’m posting this on, but I think everyone should see it. 2 1 Quote
JediAmoeba Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I have found many semkos in stocked trout. Each time they are completely stuck and there was no hope of the fish passing it. 1 Quote

Super User jimmyjoe Posted December 17, 2019 Super User Posted December 17, 2019 Yay! My lure collection just got smaller and simpler. Good reason for me to forsake soft plastic forever. jj Quote

Dirtyeggroll Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 There are a couple of small lakes with nearby housing developments here that I have caught several 20-21” fish out of that weighed 2.5 pounds or less. I suspect that a similar phenomenon is occurring considering the number of guys pounding the lake with Senkos all of the time. Different fish: 1 Quote

Super User geo g Posted December 18, 2019 Super User Posted December 18, 2019 Never throw old plastics in the lake after use. They are an easy meal for bass. 1 Quote
