I'm thinking about buying a triple handful of BOSS jigs to stock up for some bottom dragging the rest of this winter.  BR members that have used their jigheads and skirts, what's your opinion of them?

What models would you recommend?  I need some for pitching and casting.  I don't have much rock local, but I'm thinking of some footballs to for where I have rock.

They are quality items.  No issues with any of their products.

They're great quality jigs. I'm a fan of the Sparkie, the Gary Klein Heavy Cover, dock knocker and the Brush jig.

I liked their Jig heads, not a huge fan of the skirts but they weren't bad quality. I had to stop using them to conform with the lead ban up here though.

I've bought their dock knocker jigs before. Paired it with dirty jigs 60 strand skirts and made a good combo. I liked the angle and stiffness of the weedguard and the hook is strong and sharp.

BOSS does produce a good quality head and decent skirt.  With that said, I would look at Sieberts Outdoors offerings. Mike provides a super quality jig, top tier skirt in some fantastic colors patterns and you have the option of getting then HAND TIED and that's a big deal.  If you haven't tried them, i'd give him a shot for sure.

The swim jig heads are fantastic. I haven’t tried the skirts. I will never go down the pre-made swim jigs road again. 5-6 bucks per jig VS about $2.25 when on sale like now, or about $2.65 at regular price.

I just purchased a few Boss skirts on the Friday sale, should arrive on Thursday to find out. The price for the skirts is $.56 each. I picked up some naked Shock Blades on sale + Friday sale that I'm gonna install my new skirts on them.

My go-to jigs are Boss jigs. I'm really partial to the wood walker style. That head has a nice flat side on the head that helps the skirt flare out and it just makes a really nice looking jig. I buy skirt material (multiple brands) including theirs and tie my own skirts with wire now.

I really like the BOSS Hubs, you can make some great punch rigs using those. Don't know much about their jigs, I only use Siebert's Dredge jigs.

Thanks for reminding me those exist! I've been looking for a solution to make my own punch skirts. They are a little expensive for what they are though, I might have a friend try and make some with his 3d printer

I bought that 30 dollar skirts unlimited kit from Tackle Warehouse to go with a bunch of Boss jig heads. Enough to skirt 50 jigs. (2 pieces of skirt material per jig. I like 2.5 per jig.) Awesome colors which allow you to create great combinations.

The Finesse Flip jigs are nice. Same mold as the Siebert Sniper jig, which is my favorite jig.

I make all of my own jigs.  I use their skirt material and powder paint.  Great products.

I get my jigs from Barlows, and make my own skirts with skirt material from BOSS/ Fishingskirts.com.  Barlow sells BOSS jigs as well.

This ^^^^

Although there are a few of things they make I don't personally care for, it's not because they are are not good products, but some of the stuff is just not my cup of tea.

But the products they make that I DO LIKE, are as if I designed them myself, and fit my needs near perfectly.
