dan2116 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I have a couple of old lures that I need Identified. One looks like it may be wood and the other looks to be molded. 1 Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted December 3, 2019 Super User Posted December 3, 2019 Not a clue - never seen anything even similar - very cool looking lures though. I'd never fish them, they belong in a display box somewhere 1 Quote
dan2116 Posted December 3, 2019 Author Posted December 3, 2019 Thank you Harold. Would the fact the front hook is a double and rear hook a treble indicate age. possibly early model lures? Quote
Super User WRB Posted December 3, 2019 Super User Posted December 3, 2019 Poe's Plugs were made from cedar wood in NorCal in the late 60's to early 80's before being sold to Yacamha Tackle co. The Loco Motion lure wasn't continued after the Poe co was sold. The double hook was probably the original design to miss the belly prop. Poe's are such an icon in the Delta area they have a tournament named after the lures. Tom Quote

I remember them being sold in the 60's and 70's, but not so sure about the 80's. Quote
