Spinning reel selection

I’m in the market for a new light weight spinning reel. I’ve always been a big fan of pflueger and am looking for a reel under $100. My question is, should I go with the pflueger president xt or the pflueger supreme for $20 more? Is it justifiable? If you have any other good selections I would love to hear your recommendations.

I can’t comment on the supreme but I have a whole “fleet” of president xt’s in my boat. For the price, they are a great reel for my uses. Never had any issues at all with any of them in several years of use.

I’ve never owned a supreme, but a few Years after I got my first president I got rid of my other spinning reels and replaced them with presidents.
