Drop shot, jigging spoon, deep crank bait, blade bait, lipless crankbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait, Texas Rig, Carolina rig, swim bait, wacky jig, neko rig can all be fished at those depths.  The best is what gets them chewing that day.

Welcome to the BR site. I see you listed Casitas and Castaic lakes, neither have stained water.

After the lakes turnover around this time of year locally and the water column settles down the bass and Threadfin Shad can be found anywhere from 2' to 80' and caught.

Deeper then 35' you need to needle (fizz) the bass when caught any deeper.

Bass can find your lures in total darkness using all their senses of hearing, water vibrations via lateral line nerves, smell and sight.

Bass sight distance is four times the human.  So, if you drops white spinner bait into the water measure the distance down you can see it, then multiply that by four will equal the distance a bass can see your bait.

The wife can smell a chicken wing from a minimum of 2 blocks.

Inside of 1 block, she can tell you what flavor and where you got it from.

Bass are the same..I would suspect
