I need to clean the carpet on my new to me boat. The carpet does not have any spots but could use a general cleaning.  I need some possible fixes to my problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated esp. product both store bought and home remedies.

If it doesn't have any spots just use a hose with a spray attatchment

After it's dry treat the carpet and the entire boat with BTS (Bow To Stearn). It is the best carpet and boat protectant on the market. After a few treatments all you will have to do is rinse the carpet and wipe down the boat.

I hose mine down really good than use a shop vac.  It gets a lot of gunk that the hosing didn't take care of.

I take mine to the coin-operated self-serve car wash with the high pressure hose. Blasts almost anything out of the carpet. Knight's Spray-Nine for the really tough stuff

I use our Bissell Wet Carpet Cleaning machine.

It really picks up the dirt.

Hey!  I just remembered. I need to clean the carpet, soon.

Thanks for the reminder.  ;)

My cleaning always starts with the shop vac to get as much up as I can. Almost everywhere I go has a gravel or sand landing so thats an important step. If it isn't too dirty I'll use one of those small Bissell cleaners with a cleaner for high traffic or dirt repelling, makes it smell nicer too.

When it gets really sandy/dirty I'll use the shop vac first and then hit it with the powerwasher. After I powerwash it I'll use the shop vac to pull out most of the water. Between the powerwasher and the vac you should be able to get most of the dirt out of the boat.
