Bandersnatch Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 It's winter here in Michigan and I'm stuck recovering from acl reconstruction. I've got a few books I'm working on but I'd love some good video content. Not Jaws or the perfect storm as google would say. I'm looking for teach type video or just fun to watch and get pumped up. This could be previous events that were filmed or even content providers similar to what yeti films put out with fishing related videos. Help me out guys. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted November 21, 2019 Super User Posted November 21, 2019 Sorry to hear you've had a tough stretch but good to know you're on the mend. If you're looking for Michigan based stuff, I have been adding video to my threads in the reports forum of my own fishing trips, for a little while now. Not a pro, sponsored or anything like that, but I bump into a few brown bass now & then. A-Jay 3 1 Quote

Super User WRB Posted November 22, 2019 Super User Posted November 22, 2019 I agree with Glenn's response because it's the winter dull drums setting in with another related thread on this forum page already. The old school vcr era video by Glenn Lau "Big Mouth Forever" is a classic every bass angler should watch. Tom 1 Quote

I'm a swimbait/big bass fisherman, and you talk about getting pumped before a session? Brother, this vid will make you go out to a random parking lot looking for a PUDDLE to throw in for a while: Quote

I'm sure the big bass world will survive without ol' Long around--also sure Mike Gilbert's gonna keep stickin em on swimbaits and putting out some of the best big bait vids out there. Thanks for watching! Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted November 22, 2019 Super User Posted November 22, 2019 Michigan and Minnesota have similar waters... check out Angling Edge. Online content but also long version DVD’s. I think their online store is selling package deals on bundles of DVD’s. They push product but also teach a lot. Quote

Thanks for watching! Yep! Matt Allen is a good instructor on swimbait fishing and has forgotten more about swimbaits then Gilbert will ever know! Very few self promoting fishing vedios are worth watching and there is a lot of them. If I want music it's not part of a fishing vedio. Thank you sharing. Tom Quote

Time goes by and threads will be remade. Thats the norm for all forums internet wide. Making anyone feel as if they should not have made a thread will deter not only them but many others who read this thread from creating threads of all kinds. I understand I will get many folks coming to your aid here glenn simply because you are you. But you seem like a fairly level dude. Surely you can see the logic behind my statement. I wish you and your site only the best. I thought the OP wanted DVD's or BluRay, that was my first thought. The other thread is Youtube videos which is not the only way, or the best way, to watch videos. I understand both sides of this but to me they are different threads with more eyes looking up at the sites sponsors Quote
