Personals preference, is a Steez CT SV worth $500 more than a Tatula 100? For some yes.

To me Tatulas are already long cast reels, I would just stick to the CT or the 150 if you need the spool to hold more line and save a few $.

I have the new elite and have had about all versions of the Tatula. I would say most certainly not much difference but im using them to throw 1/2 oz -1 oz salmon and steelhead gear. The CT works just as well for me.

I haven't tried the long cast but I couldn't imagine needing to cast further than I can with my 100.

As an owner of both, ABSOLUTELY!

I have the 100 what makes the elite better? Not worried about casting distance as my 100 casts far enough.

If you're not worried about casting distance, then the other aspects of the reel that make it better probably aren't going to be too pivotal in your mind.

Good to know. I will probably just pick up another 100 then.
