80* yesterday. 70* today. Snow forecast Monday and Tuesday next week. Picking up the Predator tomorrow morning.

Ice is off the lakes, earlier this week we had a 70o high...but today?

So that puts a wrap on this - the 2nd Annual Ice Out / Open Water Countdown Thread.

 

 

While the days went by slowly, the weeks waiting for what happened yesterday,

did seem to go by fairly quickly.

So I'd to thank all the fine BR forum members for your support & participation here again; I really appreciate it.

There's a decent chance, (if everything goes as planned) the 3rd annual version of this one could appear again sometime in the late fall.

I'll admit to not exactly looking forward to it as much as I was open water.

Snow flurries here as well. We had about a 30* temp drop since yesterday.

Snow sun snow sun today and 50mph winds. Highs in the 40's for the next 7 days with more rain than not. Picked up the boat this morning and it's loaded and ready to go.
