Super User Catt Posted November 12, 2019 Super User Posted November 12, 2019 Any medium heavy rod of at least 7'+, there are dozens on the market. How much ya wanna spend? 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 12, 2019 Super User Posted November 12, 2019 7-foot medium heavy with a fast action tip. Take the reel to your local tackle shop and put it on a few rods to see how it fits, feels, and balances. This will give you a good idea of which rod will feel the best. Do not look at the rod's prices. Do this as a "price blindfold test." Then rank the best feeling rods from top to bottom along with their prices. Let us know which rods you liked best and which one you purchased. Quote
jebar01 Posted November 12, 2019 Author Posted November 12, 2019 Thank-You for giving me some good ideas. I figured 7 to 7'6" to be a good start. Quote
