Ok so i got this reel for a year now and i'm just in love with it, 3 or 4 months later when i reel it in it's making a loud clicking sound, and i have video of it doing so. I don't know if it's supposed to do this and i'm assuming it has something to do with the spool when i take the spool off it's not clicking anymore and it's the most annoying sound,  any possible fix? And when i reel it in very slowly is has a very quiet squeak.

I’m sure there’s some small piece of debris or something a little loose in there.  It would be far easier for me to take the reel apart and fix the clicking sound than to post that video! I do have a bait caster that makes a clacking sound when you cast and for the life of me I can’t figure it out. Other reels have been much easier but I do have one that is a mystery. Just keep digging until you find the problem unless there is some kind of warranty

Check for stickers under the rotor that have lifted. I had that on my Fuego LT, the whirring clicking sound drove me mad. I was looking at it, spanners out, preparing to take it to pieces, when I notices something flash. Turned out the metallic sticker under the rotor had lifted and one end was scuffing on the rotor.  Saved a lot of fiddling around taking the reel apart, I just pulled the sticker off.

Sounds to me you have a sticker slapping!  I had this happen on my Fuego LT 2500.

I had a Pflueger (sp?) President that was doing this.  Upon close examination it was the bail flopping at a particular point in the turn.  No idea how to fix it.  I just ignore it.

Screw it, my daiwa BG is out of warranty anyways and i'm sure it's just a simple fix but, i'm going to buy another one anyways and use my other one for parts, thanks for the help.

DVT doesn't care about all that.  He can probably fix it for much less than a new reel.

Welcome aboard!

Interesting the sticker thing mentioned. Have had my eye on a BG

for inshore fishing.

Do try @Delaware Valley Tackle, he's got a great rep here. I'll be

sending him some of my reels, hopefully soon.

If you mail it back to daiwa , they would fix it for little to nothing.Even though it's out of warranty.

Print this paper , box it up and send it in.

I live in Canada guys, do you know how expensive to ship the reel? it's like 30$ and not to mention if they charge me 30$ to fix it in usd to CAD is probably 40 or 50$? i think it's better off if i buy a new one

It sounds like the bail is slapping the tag end of the line in the keeper.
