Has anyone tried the new Berkley x9? or the Spiderwire Ultracast braid?

I have been using Suffix NanBraid and was curious how these new lines are fairing?

What’s your idea of light braid?

I use power pro 8 and 10lb with 8 and 10lb FC leaders and it’s incredibly easy to fish with.  I love throwing a ned rig on a light action rod with 8lb braid. It’s amazing how sensitive it is. Almost no drag in the water.

I use only 8 and 10lb braid on my SM set ups with 6-12lb FC leaders, depending on the structure, especially zebra mussels, etc.

I've been using Ultracast Invisi-Braid ever since my buddy bought a huge spool of it 20 or 30 years ago and started giving it away. I primarily use 10# on 2500-series spinning reels without a leader. It breaks at 22 pounds or so.
