Super User Catt Posted November 2, 2019 Super User Posted November 2, 2019 This is what I use with a firm brush ? Quote
Super User gim Posted November 2, 2019 Super User Posted November 2, 2019 Toon sauce works. Spray on, wipe off using a microfiber towel. Boat bling makes several products similar to this that I use: hot sauce, vinyl sauce, condition sauce, etc. Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 2, 2019 Super User Posted November 2, 2019 Awesome cleaner will clean aluminum boats, fiberglass boats, upholstery, carpet, tires, rims, your truck, & it removes water scrum, mildew, mold. All for $1.00 a 20 oz bottle ? Quote

Super User WRB Posted November 3, 2019 Super User Posted November 3, 2019 I haven't tried Catts suggested cleaner but like he said for $1 what do you have to lose! I cleaned my powder coated aluminum patio furniture with a product no longer available and tried several cleaners until trying WD-40. First clean with white vinegar and warm, the spray on the WD-40 let sit a few minutes and wipe off metal surfaces restoring the finish. Not being in the WD-40 fan club I thought this was another BS cure, all but it works. WD-40 isn't a $1 cleaner. Tom 1 Quote

And it will clean 98% of the little black vertical lines that appear on your white gutters with very little rubbing with a microfiber cloth. Who knew? I just discovered the stuff 3 or 4 years ago. Passible bug and tar remover, too. 1 Quote
FishinBuck07 Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Awesome will clean just about anything I think. We use it on just about everything at home and it saves you money instead of paying for all the high dollar cleaners. 1 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 7, 2019 Global Moderator Posted November 7, 2019 I clean mine by launching them in the river and driving! It leaves a nice brown ring around the hull that really accents the camo pattern nicely 1 Quote

It leaves a nice brown ring around the hull that really accents the camo pattern nicely In winter I cut a new piece of heavy, green plastic tarp from a huge tarp I bought years ago to cover our 39’ camper, but never used. I cut the piece big enough to tent over the boat and then secure it all the way around the outside of the boat with foot long pieces of gorilla tape stuck to the hull every 6 inches or so. Come spring, I take the tarp off and pull off all the bits of tape. The tape glue leaves residue though, and the residue gets dirty. After three years of doing this and not even trying to remove the dirty marks from the previous season, a sort of camo pattern is emerging. 1 Quote
Tizi Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Awesome cleaner is very good, but sometimes on aluminum can get slightly oxidized or dirt can build up. I use softscrub when it gets that bad. Quote
