Hey everyone, so I'm new to the schuylkill county area. Just moved up from south Jersey and I'm on the look out for some smallies. I'm in schuylkill Haven so I have the schuylkill river right down the street. Looking for some decent moving water that holds smallmouth. So far I've only found large mouth and some trout. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Can't help you really, but one of my most fun memories was of an afternoon I spent wet wading the schukill near Douglassville about 15 years ago. Absolutely brilliant fun catching dozens of little smallmouth. Just as well I live 3000+ miles away from it or I'd be spending more time than is healthy doing that. LOL

I know a good amount of people that fish Blue Marsh for large mouth, not sure about smallies

It’s got gooooooooood smallies in it. Blue Marsh would be a good spot to try. Also the Susquehanna River; arguably the best inland smallmouth fishery in the eastern PA.
