Super User GreenPig Posted October 18, 2019 Super User Posted October 18, 2019 I must of run through some hard water.? Quote
ike8120 Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 Sometimes a little debris will do that to the impeller. Quote
tander Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 I would say that it was time for a new one. How long had it been since you changed it? Quote
Super User GreenPig Posted October 18, 2019 Author Super User Posted October 18, 2019 14 years. I always visually verify it's pumping water. I returned to the ramp last week after fishing and noticed that it wasn't pumping a full stream. I'm guessing one fin broke off then helped the rest come unglued. New impeller is installed and a replacement in the tool box. Phone calendar alarm set for 2 years. Quote

boostr Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 If you don't use your boat everyday of the week or run your motor the whole time when your out, you don't really need to change your impeller every season. I pre run my motor the day before I go to the lake to make sure it starts and pees straight... Quote
