Anyone ever use a chatterbait that didn’t vibrate or if it did vibrate hardly? I don’t think it’s my gear ratio on my reel but I’m not sure. Maybe I have a defective one..

is the tag end of the tie interfering with the blade or maybe youre picking up too much grass? i highly doubt its anything to do with the reel.

It has to be something with the connection of the blade to the jig or possibly something small lodged in between.  Check that out or tie another on and see how it feels for comparison. I find all chatterbaits to run different, even among the same brand and styles.  Some stay down better, vibrate better, etc.

That is usually caused by the jig eye and/or snap binding on the blade. It's an easy fix most times.

Yes. You might also try removing the paint from the jig eye.
