craww Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Very cool, thanks for sharing. That W&M is begging to be fished at least one more time. It's almost sad in a way to realize alot of these modern conglomerate owned companies like Wright & McGill, Pflueger, Penn, Heddon, Shakespeare, etc were once these iconic american made brands that came from little towns all over the country. 2 Quote
keagbassr Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Pretty cool @slonezp. I've acually got one similar to your w.m. thats been laying around in my basement for a dozen years or so since it was given to me by a former co- worker. 3 Quote
tholmes Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Very nice! I love seeing (and fishing with) those old fishing rods. I get a kick out of catching fish on the same equipment that I had 50 years ago, and still like the feel of a fiberglass rod. Old reels are easy to find, but rods, being more fragile, are scarce.
