I would like a couple of wake baits but don't want a huge expensive one, has anyone got one of the Jackall Chan Wake's? How do you like it? At $20 that seems like my pricepoint for a wake bait. I'm also looking at the Megabass I-Jack.

The chanwake is big bait, with a rattle and a small prop on the tail.  It fishes loud.  Have not fished the Megabass.

Rapala BX Minnow is a good inexpensive option-it catches fish.  If you can find the discontued StrikeKing WakeShad, it is the deal, especially for open water.

Take a look at the Depps Buzzjet. You can find them on eBay for under $20

I have a Depps Buzzjet Jr., I'm looking for something a little different like the above two baits I mentioned.

I got a Megabass I-Loud a couple years ago because I was totally sold on its fish-catching abilities (and cool colors).  I fished it once and found that it had to be worked quite slowly to avoid blowing out and it wasn't a very stable bait.

The Rapala DT-Fat 1 and Manns 1-Minus are my preferred wakebaits.

I'm just looking for something a little bigger than like a 2.5 squarebill sized wake bait which is why I am interested in the I-Jack and the Chan Wake as they are a bigger profile bait.
