Super User Raul Posted October 2, 2019 Super User Posted October 2, 2019 Simple question cuz I'm a tech idiot and I become lazy, would love to upload pics straight from my phone and not have to dowload them to my 'puter and upload them from there. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted October 3, 2019 Super User Posted October 3, 2019 I do, but I have to make them small first. I use a free app called 'Photo and Picture Resizer'. 3 Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted October 3, 2019 Super User Posted October 3, 2019 Me too. I resize them then download to the site. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 3, 2019 Global Moderator Posted October 3, 2019 Fellow tech idiot here. I use my phone all the time. I resize my photos by emailing them to myself, super simple and idiot proof if I can do it. ? 1 Quote
Super User Scott F Posted October 3, 2019 Super User Posted October 3, 2019 If you use an iPhone, you can now choose what size photo you want to upload. You don’t have to mail it to yourself or use another app to resize it. 1 Quote

But I just switched from Android to iPhone and may need to give this another go! Quote

Super User NYWayfarer Posted October 4, 2019 Super User Posted October 4, 2019 Charter member of the tech idiot club here as well. What is this "upload" you guys are talking about? Where are you uploading pics to be able to post them here? When I am posting here I have no way of adding a photo except "Insert exsisting attachment" You can only have so many photos in your albums here. It's been frustrating and to say the least to figure out how to post photos again. I would love a sticky thread on here with a walkthrough on how to post a picture. Quote

Right below the box where you type your replies to a post, the is a line that says " Drag files here to attach or choose files..." If you click on the words "choose files..." It allows you to choose the photo file from the device you are using. Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted October 4, 2019 Super User Posted October 4, 2019 That must be the problem. I don’t have that option in that box. All it says in that box is insert other media. Quote

Super User slonezp Posted October 5, 2019 Super User Posted October 5, 2019 I download them to my computer and use snipping tool. That's about as techy as I get. Quote
