randyrl15 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Does anybody know the color and name of this worm? Quote
JediAmoeba Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Kind of looks like a Zoom Shakey tail worm. It came in a 4 pack, sounds like a sample pack. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Zoom_Shakey_Tail_Worm/descpage-ZMST.html Quote
Big Rick Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Copying the color may be more important than length or diameter. V&M makes a close match with their Watermelon Bluegill. It's not exact, but its close. Quote
BassNJake Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Zoom has a gourd green color that is close but not the same shape 1 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted September 25, 2019 Global Moderator Posted September 25, 2019 Zoom used to make one called a c tail worm , looks similar 1 Quote

Was it from a mystery tackle box or something? Sometimes those things have one-offs and it can be hard to find the exact replacement. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Zoom_Shakey_Tail_Worm/descpage-ZMST.html maybe, could be the c tail. btw i love me some shakey tails! Super User Choporoz Posted September 25, 2019 Super User Posted September 25, 2019 7" Rage Tail Thumper looks very similar, also. Quote
Super User fishwizzard Posted September 25, 2019 Super User Posted September 25, 2019 The front half of that worm looks like that Yamamoto Kut Tail, did they ever make a curly tail worm? Quote

I found a pack of GYCB 4" curly tail worms the other day that were buried in a basement pile. Skinny things. Caught biggest bass of my last four trips with it on a shaky head. I'd like to find more. I bought quite a few bags of the 4 inch kut tails when they were blowing them out like 3-4 years ago. I believe I have seen a custom maker who will do a very similar worm, if you’re interested I could dig through my bookmarks later today and try to find it. 2 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted September 25, 2019 Super User Posted September 25, 2019 Thanks, @fishwizzard. Looks like they still have a bunch at Overstock ($4.99) Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 26, 2019 Global Moderator Posted September 26, 2019 Looks like the GYCB curly tail to me also. I had several bags I bought from Overstock when they had them on sale. Quote
