Picked up a vision 110 (first time handling one) first thing I wanted to see was its orientation/suspension in the water. I put it in my jerkbait "test bucket" if you will and I see that it has a very strong nose-down orientation.

Can anyone with experience with these confirm or deny if this is the norm with the vision 110?

Yes, it just depends on where the tungsten balancer is. Also, when you have line attached and under tension, it will sit differently in the water.

I wanted to like the vision 110's but overall I don't like them for this reason plus, I despise the hooks and it just doesn't produce.  When it comes to jerkbaits I will stick with Lucky Craft as the best, out of the box jerkbait.

I must say right off the bat, I am a jerkbait user & abuser - including the Vision 110.

I also change out the hooks on them - every one.

And while I can't say for sure how the new hardware changes the baits 'orientation' in the water,

I can provide plenty of pictures & video of respectable brown bass who seemed convinced that they were edible.

While we all have our favorite jerkbaits brands, models & colors - I just do not believe that a bait needs to 'suspend' one special way or another.   When bait is fleeing to avoid being dinner, it will go any which way; and bass still eat them.  I have success with them all; Head up, nose down, perfectly level - whatever they all generate bites when presented in the right place at the right time.

YMMV

I am surprised that you don't like the hooks.   Katsuage are my favorite!

If you kept the hooks I will buy them from you. Let me know.

I love those hooks too.  So does any article of clothing or glove I'm wearing.  The attraction is incredible. LOL

@roadwarrior

You're in luck Sir.

I did retain some ~ just over 5 dozen.

That should get you through a season or two at least.

As for payment . . .  There won't be any money accepted, but when I die, on my deathbed, I would like to receive total consciousness.  So I'd have that going for me, which is nice.

PM me your mailing address Kent and I'll drop them in the mail Monday morning.

What I meant was it doesn't produce for me.  I have 5 or 6 megabass visions.  A few regular 110' and a few 110 jr's.  The past spring they were horrible for me, not producing a single fish despite countless times and many hours using them.  When I would switch to pointers, I would catch a lot of fish.  I even caught quite a few on Rapalas.  To me, megabass jerkbaits are not worth anywhere near 25 bucks...
