Super User geo g Posted September 20, 2019 Super User Posted September 20, 2019 Some parts of the deep south are getting blasted again. As much as 43 inches of rain, now that's crazy. 1 Quote
Super User Catt Posted September 20, 2019 Super User Posted September 20, 2019 Winnie TX is 100 miles west of me, they have received 38" & more to come. We're fine with just minor flooding ? Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted September 20, 2019 Super User Posted September 20, 2019 My granddaughter lives in Huffman Texas. She called today and was telling me about flooding, heavy winds, and pouring rain there. 1 Quote

The Bassman Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 We've had zero measurable rain for three weeks here. I can walk on dry ground where I was catching bass a month ago. One would have thought that after Harvey such an event wouldn't happen again in our lifetime. Weather gurus are citing high gulf temps. 2 Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted September 20, 2019 Super User Posted September 20, 2019 We are in the same shape as @The Bassman. No rain in over three weeks and daily high temps have been in the low to mid 90s almost every day. Went fishing on a creek the other day. The water had so much algae and leaves piling up it wasn't fishable in a lot of areas. Finally got in to some cleaner water but still didn't catch much. Quote
