Tim Kelly Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 2500 size Shimano or Daiwa at whatever price point you are comfortable. 1 Quote
Junger Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Shimano Nasci 2500. Do not put a Daiwa on a Shimano rod, or vice-versa or bad things will happen! 2 2 Quote

The 3000 will give you 6.2 ratio. The 2500 is like 5.0. Not sure if that means anything to you. They are made well and don’t break the bank. Quote

Hulkster Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Quote Do not put a Daiwa on a Shimano rod, or vice-versa or bad things will happen! the last time this was done demons awoke in the woods and they made the Evil Dead series. You don't want to awaken them again. Quote
