Rod big soft jerk

Hello what action do you recommend for big soft jerk ( magnun super fluke) and what model rod. Thank

I normally dont use magnums for soft jerks. I would need a rubberband if I did.

I use the same rod for both super flukes and magnum flukes. It’s a MH rod with a fast tip. Tip is stiff enough to get a good hookset using 30 lb braid and EWG gamakatsu superline hooks. Only thing I change is size of the hook: 5/0 for super flukes, 6/0 or 7/0 for the magnums.
