Are there any iMac users out there that can recommend a good photo resizing program? Free downloads would be preferred, but would spend some money as long as it doesn't break the bank.

Uses the Photos app that comes preinstalled on your Mac.   Just import the photo and then export it and select the size on the export dialog.

I am a Mac user, but don't use Photos app. I use Google Photos.

That said, you can simply use Preview and resize that way.

You can also use the built-in Automator to macOS do so, especially

if you have a lot of images you want to resize (or just one)...

There are a lot of options out there. These are just a couple.

I use PhotoShop Elements. It gives me a lot more control plus a ton of extra editing features almost the same as the full PhotoShop without having to pay for a monthly subscription. You can get it from Apple's App Store for $100 or from Amazon for $59 on a disc or a download. You can get it on a free trial from Adobe as well to try it out

Thanks all for the suggestions!

Select your photo then two finger click on it to open the window that has EDIT WITH near the bottom. Select EDIT WITH and choose PREVIEW from the menu the pops up. A new window will open with your photo. Then go to your toolbar at the top of the screen and select TOOLS. From the TOOLS dropdown box select ADJUST SIZE. That'll hook you up.
