Flatrock Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Ok silly question... When buying soft plastics like worms, How do you know if its floating worm or soft plastics ? 1 Quote
detroit1 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 That is a silly question. I assume you meant floating or sinking. Elaztech , "trick" worms, or custom poured that say floating. All others sink at various speeds. 1 Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted September 7, 2019 Super User Posted September 7, 2019 If the product advertises heavy salt concentration, which many do, then you know it sinks... 1 1 Quote

Ok this is what I was looking for... Reason I was asking this question was I purchased several bags of ribbon tail worms and the packages just didn't indicate if they were floating or not. I had presumed the tail at least would float but doesn't and I'm not getting the action I desired. Again thanks Quote
LCG Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Look for trick worms or other brands that have no salt. Zman elaztek will float if not stretch out the bait and loosen up the salt. I use black trick worms with no salt and they work well. 1 Quote
