When I replace split rings for the hooks I use a size 3. Anything smaller is too hard to work with at least for me. I would recommend The Owner brand split rings.

I was referring to hook replacement in general. I don't know why the action would change. The Tiny Torpedo takes a size 6 hook. The Baby Torpedo takes a size 4. Not sure if they would have to be short shank or standard hooks.

Tiny Torpedo is size 6, split ring size 2. Use whatever you want it's your lure.

Owner Hyperwire split rings size 2 with either Owner ST_36 hooks or Gamakatsu Aaron Martens Nano Finesse hooks. The latter is very sharp and slick and also works great on jerk baits....
