Probably full of dirt. Try blowing it out with compressed air in can.silicone lube might help.

Take the side plate off.  Clean it up and lube any places where friction occurs.

 

I am sure there are videos showing you how easy it is to do.

Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. Mine was a Mach II SLP about one month old. Brake dial would turn about 5 clicks and stop. Worked fine when I bought it. I returned it to Field & Stream and swapped it for an Abu Revo X. No problems from the Revo yet and as a bonus, it's definately less finicky dialing in the spool tension and brake. And it seems to cast just as far if not farther.
