James Niggemeyer Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Its that time of year where we begin to come out of summer and the fall is getting closer. In this video I share some baits and ideas that work well for me during this transitional period. Hope you like it and good fishing! 12 5 Quote

JoePhish Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Thanks for this video. This topic was on my mind this morning as today will be the first time I'm fishing this summer that the water temperature will most likely be higher than the air temperature. 1 Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted August 29, 2019 Super User Posted August 29, 2019 *Thank you James for sharing - always happy to have you post ... Here in the South East , I have learned that shad start showing up in coves and the back of creeks sooner than most bass fishermen would think ! Right now pearl colored swim jigs , bladed jigs and shad colored crank baits will be solidly be moving up in the line up ... Soon mirror or pearl colored top water poppers and walking baits will follow when spotted bass "wolf packs" gang up and will start busting top water lures well beyond the typical top water morning bite ... Less boat traffic , cooler temps and active bass make the Fall a favorite time to be bass fishing ! 1 Quote
James Niggemeyer Posted September 2, 2019 Author Posted September 2, 2019 Your right, much sooner than you’d think ?...?. Certainly more ways to skin that cat but my suggestion is always if something works for you stick with it! appreciate the comment! Quote
TriStateBassin106 Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Thanks james! As a bank angler I hope I can use some of this advice since I fish smaller ponds. Have any other recommendations like jigs or soft plastics? Quote
