Super User S Hovanec Posted August 26, 2019 Super User Posted August 26, 2019 Finally built the Eternity I picked up over a year ago. It's not nearly as powerful as I expected. To me, it falls more in the Lite/Fast spectrum than Medium/x-fast. It loads up pretty significantly when working a 3/8 weight. Much less powerful than my St. Croix 5S610MLXF. Feels more in line with my NFC DS610-IM. It fishes nice and is super light weight. Balances well when paired with the Vanquish. I need to put it on a scale because I think it may be the lightest rod I've ever built (excluding ice rods) Blank: Rainshadow ETES610MXF Guides: Fuji T2 SiC Hook Keeper: Kigan XLA (TiCh) Slip rings: American Tackle Cork: Natural (Custom Fly Grips) Inlay/accent cork: burnt and light (Andy Dear) Thread: Makoi charcoal without CP Winding checks: MudHole matte black. Butt cap: MudHole. Finish: Threadmaster Lite and Regular. Decals: Decal Connection Don't know where that holey cork ring came from. This was my personal stash of good stuff 1 Quote
Super User S Hovanec Posted August 26, 2019 Author Super User Posted August 26, 2019 Ok, so what's up with Photobucket again? No pics showing up. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted August 26, 2019 Super User Posted August 26, 2019 If I click on the lines it takes me to the pics. Nice work as usual, planning on building a rod or two this winter. Allen 1 Quote
Super User S Hovanec Posted August 26, 2019 Author Super User Posted August 26, 2019 Thank you. Wonder why they're not showing up in the thread. My pics still show up in the other bass site. Yep, officially the lightest bass rod I've ever built. Quote
