So the other day I cast my line out and the side plate of my Casitas went flying into the lake! According to the diagram of the reel and the price chart, it will cost me about $50 to rebuild and my husband said that there is a chance that he might not even be able to get it put back together. I really don't want to spend that much money on parts anyhow. So, I need a recommendation of a new reel that is about the size of the Casitas and around the $100 mark. Anyone have a suggestion (and why you like that particular reel)?

Don’t throw that reel away. I’ll take it if no one else will.

Spend the extra money, get a Curado K or a 70 - tell your husband you deserve it& don't take no for an answer.

'No' is not something I'd dare tell my wife.  :rolleyes7: :teeth:

OP.  Left hand or right hand?  I ask because you can find some really good deals on used reels.  There are a couple LH Patriarchs for $100 on another site.  These are $200 reels new unless on sale...which is how I got mine for $80 directly from Pflueger.  :dance10:  Also several RH Curado Ks for $130 and 2 RH Tournament MBs for $100.  Both very good reels.
